The Commissions Process
SIZE
First thing is to decide on the best size canvas for your custom project. If you are unsure of the perfect size for your space, I’m happy to help you decide! Also, if it would be helpful for me to see the space where you would like the paintings please feel free to send a picture of that as well.
INSPIRATION
I appreciate any inspiration you can provide - what particular paintings/style of mine you favor, any photographs/landscapes/locations you would like me to work from, Pinterest boards, color palettes, etc. The more pictures, the better!
SKETCH
If necessary, I will start with a few sketch options for your piece, to give you an idea of what I had in mind and make sure we are on the same page. Once I have your approval, the oil painting begins. At this point, I typically allow for 8-10 weeks for the completion of each piece.
PRICING
Pricing is based on canvas size and subject. I ask for a 50% deposit to begin, with the remaining balance, plus shipping, due once your painting is complete. *You are more than welcome to pick up the completed piece from my studio and I will knock off the shipping.
